The little engine that could is finished!

Here it is, and is currently winging it's way to Honolulu! 

I think I'm going to have a short break while I finish off 4 bridesmaid dresses, then I'll be starting the next painting.

Whoops, I noticed last night that we call this story the little train that could in the UK, not little engine! Fixed!!


Here's where I'm up to now:

As the title suggests, I've been busy painting again.

Here's where I'm up to:

It's quite good fun doing something this small; it grows quickly even after a few hours work. The temptation to fiddle now that I have some amazingly fine brushes is there, though, so I'm having to be careful I don't get bogged down in the detail too much! It's fantastic though - having brushes fine enough to paint small things!

They were a Christmas present, from someone very precious to me, so thank you Kay!

I'll aim to do some more tomorrow or Saturday.
